So, I'm thinking about hosting a MEWCon panel with , depending on whether or not she can go. Worst case scenario, I'd still like to host a panel at the convention, similar to the Zapp Brannigan one I saw at SakuraCon [unfortunately, I couldn't get in, but the online footage looked AMAZING~].

Basically, it would involve a bunch of people cosplaying as Star Trek characters hosting a panel, all in character.

• Recounting various "experiences" [sort of made-up on the spot or kind of thought up beforehand]

• Looking for "recruits" for the Enterprise


• Whatever else we can come up with?

Keep in mind, this has to last at least an hour, and can go up to over three [/not/ likely]. I'm thinking an hour panel, since that's usually standard.

I also don't know the attendance at MEWCon, but there's no fee for the panel or anything, and I would be planning on LIVEStreaming it or something, because I have some friends in different parts of the country who'd like to see it. So, it'd go up on the internet, probably recorded by my own laptop for sure. Hey, it's worth a shot, right?

Hell, I need cosplayers. Even if you're someone we already have, we can make it work. Different universes and shit. I mean, I play Kirk, and if I got someone to make a Chapel or Rand or wrap-around TOS Kirk or Mirror Spock [regularspocktoopl0x], that would be amazing.

I do ask that you are recognizable as the character, and not show up with black hair, a blue T-shirt and call yourself Spock. I'm not asking for the best cosplayers in the world. Just something fellow Trekkies can identify. Bones in his TOS light-blue-short-sleeve med shirt is definitely fine! And that just needs a dyed white cotton shirt with the emblem! ST costumes aren't that hard to make. D8

This doesn't have to be an actual character. It would be great if it was, but if you want to strut your original character, go ahead. Just make sure they have a name [it can even be your own], a costume, and a rank [no unrealistic ones, please. I don't want Captain Mary Sue there.]

I'm aiming for Friday or Saturday, around noon or two-ish, depending on what the rest of the group can attend.
